Hedge Robot Scam – Best Review

Hedge Robot is among the many expert advisors that Forexrobottrader.com has produced in the past. According to the website, this expert advisor is feature-rich and extremely profitable as it counters trends and enables users to buy low and sell high or vice versa.

We actually got shocked when we looked into the list of features of Hedge Robot expert advisor. There are a number of things that sound exciting with this robot, although we are not willing to take chances without doing some due diligence.

According to the developer, Hedge robot was designed to alter its settings based on market conditions. This feature is called intelli-switch. It also runs a self-checking logic to see if you have made an error in the input areas.

Apparently, the developer also says that Hedge Robot hides TP and SL from your broker to keep your account safe in the event that a user is trading with a rogue broker.

And last but least, Hedge robot is said to have the ability of placing hedge trades automatically.

There are literally dozens of features in this robot. Now the question is, does it perform? You don’t have to figure it out on your own because we have done the hard work for you.

This review is just an opinion that we have formed based on what we have observed in relation to this particular robot.

Hedge Robot review

First of all, this robot belongs to the same developer who designed Vader Forex robot. In that review, we discussed how this robot was a threat to traders’ accounts.

But this is not the only robot that this developer has created and sold. This expert advisor by the name Steinitz HAS MTF also belongs to them.

Unfortunately, this is the greatest undoing for his particular developer. We managed to gain access to the a sample of data that showed how Steinitz HAS MTF was performing in a span of 1 year.

Average pip per week for this robot was -30 pips. Average P/L per week was -85 (Gross P/L: -43.79%). This testing was done on a demo account and was stopped in November 2010 because the robot had blew that particular account, thus proving that it was not able to perform.

Steinitz HAS MTF Metatrader Expert Adviser Test

Sadly enough, the same developer (Forexrobottrader.com) who created Steinitz HAS MTF is the one that is now selling Hedge Robot expert advisor, and they are saying that this is the best hedging robot you can find in the market. Can we trust them when some or all of their previous robots, including Vader expert advisor have failed? Definitely not.

And then there was Fractal Pterodactyl Robot which recorded dismal results during the same testing period. By the way, this one too belongs to Forex Robot Trader developer. It proved to be a poor performer because the gross P/L for this robot was -58.41%.

Performance results for Hedge robot

This is a weird discovery. You see, despite selling so many poor performing robots in the market, this developer does not keep a live myfxbook account.

Instead of tracking their performance on a myfxbook account, they present a bunch of trading statements on their website.

This does not work very well for us because trading statements can be faked. Rogue vendors know how to work around the results which they show you. So if you believe what those trading statements say, you will be shocked because the results which you will be getting with that robot will be very different.

Secondly, we do not see the reason as to why the performance of Hedge Robot should not be tracked on a myfxbook account. There is absolutely no reason.

On the other hand, it’s a little bit suspicious to realize that this developer is using trading statements when they know very well that those cannot be trusted.

Statement for Hedge Robot

Performance for the Steinitz HAS MTF Hedge Robot

The bottom line is this. Hedge Robot does not have performance records. It’s difficult to gauge how this expert advisor would perform in the long run. That’s one reason why we are actually not including it in our list of best Forex expert advisors.

The second screenshot above is also prone to manipulation. It’s not a document that can be used to validate the performance of a Forex robot. Therefore, it’s unfortunate that even though this developer is trying very hard to prove their point by cobbling things together, we are not willing to have anymore of this nonsense again.

Trading logic

The name of this robot tells us that it is a hedging expert advisor. But aside from this, there are also other elements that this developer mentions in relation to this robot.

For example, they claim that Hedge Robot exploits movement in the market using Heiken Ashi Smoothed indicator (HAS indicator).

There is strong emphasis on the use of HAS indicator and how it is able to make this robot act faster than millions of traders on the internet.

According to the developer, this robot can exploit trends by countering them and buying low while selling higher.

Of course this is a valid trading logic. But the fact that this strategy or trading logic cannot be turned into real Forex profits means that this is a failing expert advisor.

About the developer of Hedge Robot

We mentioned earlier that this developer was selling other robots as well. This means that they have been in existence for a couple of years now. The first series of robots that were tested by them were created in 2010.

They have all failed to yield results as expected by Forex traders who used and dumped them. This particular one is not an exception because for one, we can promise you that nothing has changed with this developer. Secondly, if all their robots have failed, it means that this one too is not good at automated trading, and will definitely fail if tried with real money on a live trading environment.

Moreover, this developer does not say who they are or where their company is operated from. There is strong emphasis on how they create the best-selling Forex robots on the web. However, the issue of their experience in relation to trading is not explored.

So far, we know that this robot was created by someone called Don Steinitz. That’s all we know about this developer.

Summary of points raised above

Hedge robot would be a good contender if the developer produced documents that would help verify the actual performance of this expert advisor.

Instead, the developer just gave us a couple of trading statements and left us wondering whether or not those were real.

Why didn’t they track the performance of this robot? No one knows.

We therefore have all the reasons to trust our instincts because this is usually one of the red flags that traders look out for when purchasing these products online.

Our best advice for you

Chances are that Hedge Robot is not a good expert advisor. That’s why the creator is reluctant to track and show its results on myfxbook platform.

Until we can have the results for our second opinion or update of this review, we do not see the need to approve it yet. Therefore, stick to our usual robots here. They are worth your time and investments.
