Clark Signals Review: Is Barry Clark’s Company Scam?

This review is about a Forex signal provider known as Clark Signals. The website can be accessed at Clarksignals.com. It is owned by someone called Barry Clark. Barry Clark seems to be running this business as a team as opposed to a one-man army.

According to Barry Clark, this signal service was founded in 2007, and has continued to provide quality signals to its customers over the years.

But according to Who.is, Clark Signals is only a few months old because it was registered in 2017 as opposed to 2007. The big question is, were they selling signals without a website in place? How exactly is this possible?

The only possibility here is that Barry Clark is lying when they say that they have been serving customers since 2007. That’s not true.

Anyway, Clark Signals is registered under TRADE LLC, meaning that it’s a company for real. But that does not mean that they are a credible signal provider. There has to be more proof of legitimacy for us to even consider trusting them.

Clark Signals Review

We have already disapproved the fact that the alleged 15 years of experience serving clients on this website is not true. So probably the rest of the information on this site isn’t true as well. But we will go over it anyway for the sake of this review.

According to the owner, their signals are often produced by software and human. They are working with expertly produced trading systems which automate the entire process. The reason why they are distinguished from the rest of the signal providers in the market is that their signals are also generated by human hand before they can be sent to clients.

Signals are published at fixed times of the day, as long as it is a business day. According to the description of this site, those signals are often sent together with predefined values (take profit and stop loss). All signals are sent as pending orders through email. These are to be filled as soon as price has reached a certain predetermined value.

What currency pairs are they trading?

Clark Signals offers signals for EURUSD, GBPUSD and USDCHF pairs. They tell their clients that there will be at least 2 to 6 signals every day.

When asked about the average number of pips that clients should expect in a given month, they claim that Clark Signals has been averaging 700-800 pips per month.

As far as description of this company’s services are concerned, the people working at Clark Signals believe that they have done their best to describe who they are as well as the services which they are offering. Now it is our turn to believe them. But first, what is the cost of subscribing to Clark Signals plans?

Clark Signals is selling 3 types of plans

There are three separate plans which customers can choose to subscribe to. The first plan costs $109. It offers one month access to signals through email. Additional features include daily signals, 24/7 technical support, free analytics, and email notification. This plan expires in one month. This means you must keep paying the subscription fee in order to continue with this plan the following month.

The second plan which they are offering is priced at $189. Clark Signals claims that they will give you 3 months access to Forex signal as well as 1 month of free signals. This plan has the same features as the first plan. Only the price is different.

Nevertheless, when we look at the price difference, we see that there is a very big gap. When you pay $189 and get 4 months of Forex signal, you are basically paying way less than someone who is subscribed to the first plan which costs $109 per month.

clark signals pricing

This price difference is not justified because most providers have a trial plan in place which is way cheaper than Clark Signals’ first plan.

Generally, if you were to try out this service, you wouldn’t want to pay the price of the first plan. You’d be tempted to pay for the second plan because at the end of the day, you’ll be saving.

The third plan offers 6 months of signals for $389. You get 2 months of free signals too. All features remain the same. The only difference is the length of time that your signals will expire.

The bottom line is, this pricing structure does not favor those who want to test the service. It is rather too expensive for someone who is willing to test their signals but not for the price of $109 per month.

Clark Signals’ performance

Clark Signals website has hinted that they have been tracking their performance over time. We have screenshots showing a graphical representation of how their signals have been performing since 2009.

clark signals performance

This is rather weird because for 1, this website just got registered in 2017. We don’t know where they are getting these results from.

And secondly, these results are presented in form of screenshots. Generally, we don’t prefer screenshot results because these can be easily manipulated to fool the trader.

Also, there are two tables on the Clark Signals website showing the number of pips that they have gained between 2009 and 2016. This table indicates 99,525 pips in total.

Unfortunately, there is no way we can verify these results as true. It is impossible to legitimize these numbers to find out whether or not they are the actual truth.

If you remember very well, Clark Signals website claimed that they were working with human traders who are responsible for managing their trading software and monitoring signals before they are sent out.

If real traders are involved, then it means that they must be working with a real Forex account where they trade their signals too.

And in that case, we would need a link to their myfxbook page to see this performance from a third party stand point. Are we asking too much of them? Not at all. It is just the standard practice. We do not see how someone can claim that they have been trading since 2009, yet they do not even have one bit of evidence that they are indeed professional traders.

We find this rather weird that they can provide us with  screenshots of supposed performance without proof to accompany the alleged performance. It is extremely hard to believe these numbers. We do not know about you.

Customer feedback

It is extremely important that we consider customer feedback over time. If this business has existed for more than 8 years online, there should be more than enough customer reviews and feedback.

We don’t care whether this feedback is coming from critics or people who are pleased about the service. All we want is some feedback to proof that Clark Signals has really been active in this industry for the stated number of years.

Unfortunately, we were not able to find any customer feedback about Clark Signals. This confirms that the service is very new. They have never provided signals for 8 years as alleged on the website.

Our best advice for you

Lack of transparency is our biggest problem with Clark Signals. Secondly, there has to be some form of proof to legitimize the numbers which we are seeing on this website. We cannot just believe that Clark Signals is doing well when we don’t have proof yet. Therefore, we don’t recommend this service.

One Reply to “Clark Signals Review: Is Barry Clark’s Company Scam?”

  1. Almost straight away I wasn’t impressed with Clark Signals. You’re practically forced to buy the $189 plan for three months with the possibility of getting one month free. The basic plan is 109 dollars, yes for an extra 80 dollars you’re getting an additional two months. I wouldn’t risk using this service something is off about it.
