About Cruz Invest

Welcome to the Cruz Invest review. Many people have money and are looking for professional investment advice and guidance. But that’s where scams like Cruz Invest come in. They claim that they have 20 years of industry experience but no one can believe this story. The company claims that they are there to provide personal and friendly help to your financial affairs. But this is an area that is highly regulated in the financial industry. You just can’t give investment advice if you have not sought a regulator’s license. By the way, Cruz Invest has also attracted the attention of the FSMA which has warned that the company is unlicensed and could be a scam because it is operating out of the confines of the law.

The company is apparently situated in the UK. They are citing the address Suite 6-7 3rd Floor Alperton House Bridgewater Road, London which we believe is a visiting address unless stated otherwise. They are also providing us with 2 UK based phone numbers and this may suggest that indeed they are based in the UK. We have no doubt about this because most similar offshore operations are choosing the UK as their ideal location because rules are relaxed and scams can apparently operate freely without the interference of authorities.

What does the company do? It allegedly helps investors select the right stocks that meet their criteria in addition to company acquisition and project management. Is this company legit? To know the answer, keep reading. But if you want to invest right away, go here.

Cruz Invest review

CRUZ INVEST Ltd proclaims that it is an international company specializing in giving investment advice for those who want to trade their companies. They also claim to have handled private equity transactions to the volume of €2.5 million and up to more than €150 million. Obviously there is no hard facts or data to back these claims. They also claim to have been in operation in Asia, Europe and Northern America for 10 years. However, the company does not mention anything to do with licensing, which makes us doubt them. Some of these jurisdictions are regulating the kind of activities that Cruz Invest is partaking in. If indeed it’s true that this company has branches in the aforementioned locations, then it is imperative that they show us their licensing details for us to be convinced that they are a professional investment advisor.

Cruz Invest

We have also inspected details of the domain It appears this domain was registered this year and not 10 years ago. It is not possible that this company was operating on another domain. If that was the case, they would have mentioned it. It is also set to expire in January 2019, which is yet another indication that the owner of the site has no long term plans to continue this business. This further discredits their 10 years of existence story. It is hard to believe that a business that has existed for more than 10 years can operate a website whose domain is supposed to expire in a few months from now. We simply have many question marks with regards to the credibility of this site and the owner. These should be treated as red flags. Beware.

Background of the company

There is no information about the background of Cruz Invest company. In fact, what we have are generic texts making claims that are not true. The company owner or directors have not been introduced, which leaves us wondering whether this operation is legit.

When you come across such a company, it would be imperative to listen to your instincts carefully. This usually means that the company is keen on not exposing the people behind the operation simply because they are shady and wouldn’t want to expose themselves to the world.

Based on this alone, we are going to rate it poorly afterwards because generally there is no trust towards this company. The trust level is so low since they are 100% anonymous and the claims which they make on the site cannot be verified either.

We don’t think you’d be too comfortable investing with a company whose owners are mysterious. No investor would be comfortable in this situation. We would also like to say that the alleged 20 years of experience is just a lie. If the company cannot introduce some of their top employees, then it simply makes sense to say that the people behind it are not experienced, and in the worst case scenario, we don’t even have employees here at all.

An illegal investment company

Cruz Investment is among the shady companies that have been listed on the FMSA website. The FMSA claims that they are unregistered and that means they are also a scam. We just don’t see how a company that has existed for more than a decade can fail to register with the relevant financial regulators to operate without any interference from the authorities. This company has not acquired any license, and it’s actually a bad gesture because the world now view them as a scam and not a legit company.

Can you lose money with Cruz Invest?

It is not clear whether they are charging members of the public for the services which they offer. However, most scams that operate similar to Cruz Invest will at some point charge a commission or a fee for the service which they have rendered. These fees are nowhere to be found on the site. The site is not upfront on what they charge for the service they render. Again, this lack of transparency is a serious red flag because investors could just be slapped with fees which they did not anticipate.

Our best advice for you

It is foolish to trust operations that lack credibility. We are not sure whether professionals are involved in this operation. We are not sure about their qualification and skill to provide sound investment advice. Finally, we don’t know why they have shunned registration with the relevant authorities.
