We have said before that when you send your BTC to a scammer, you won’t get anything back in return. Also, if an offer sounds too good to be true, refrain from investing. Greed is the worst enemy of investing as we can see it working with scams like Getbtc.in. This website has received a lot of scathing remarks over the course of its existence. The site is owned and operated by an anonymous entity. That means it can be very difficult for the average victim to identify who scammed them, unless authorities are involved. But please note that Get BTC is targeting internet randoms looking for opportunities to make some money on the side. They are not targeting your average rich investor with financial knowledge.
Get BTC should not be confused with another website known as GetBTC.org. The two are very different as the former is supposedly paying BTC to view emails while the latter is a broker or exchange. Many users are at loggerheads with GetBTC because the site is not honest in their dealings. They keep lying and scamming every time a user is taken hostage and converted into a victim. If you want to find out more, you have to continue reading this review of Get BTC.
Note: You can trade Bitcoins with these tools to make money.
What is this site all about and why should you be careful when it comes to confronting them for a possible investment venture? The site claims that you will earn ”free Bitcoins” just by receiving and reading emails. You are also supposed to receive daily compounded interest in your wallet without doing anything. For every 100 emails that you will read, the site claims that you will be rewarded with 0.001 BTC.
From the word go, this site looks shady because the operation model is not sound and their way of operation is very suspicious. This is further confirmed by reviews and user testimonials which are directly accusing this site of being a scam. None of their faceless representatives have ever come out to defend themselves against these accusations. This is a huge red flag.

The site Get BTC is operating a free BTC faucet where you can join on Telegram. The link @BTC_Faucet_bot is meant to generate free Bitcoins every 30 seconds. At @BitcoinPriceBet_bot, the site is operating an options instrument similar to that of a broker where they claim to reward 190% profits if you correctly predict the price of Bitcoin in the next 5 minutes. Please note that this is an investment service which should be regulated since they are operating like an options broker. All countries that are being targeted by Get BTC have regulations for options. So how come that Get BTC is operating like a broker and not having any license? This is illegal and is to be considered a red flag.
Also, users are presented with a dashboard from which they will have to track their earnings from time to time. Support is offered in English and French. The site says that if your withdrawal is in pending mode for more than a week, you can contact them.
After reviewing the site and analyzing a few things, we find that Get BTC is a dangerous investment destination because ultimately, they will ask you to send some BTC to them. We will get to this shortly. For now, let’s see what the accusations are. There is no way several people can be wrong about a particular site that looks shady even to the financially naive.
They are ugly because Get BTC has been actively scamming users. When they first came online, they issued pay outs successfully. Today, they no long do so as they are only interested in scamming rather than giving away the so called free Bitcoins. The site promises their users that they will receive automated payment when their balances reaches or exceeds the 0.005 BTC limit. The problem is that this payout will never be sent to you even if you have a balance of more than 0.005 BTC.
Other users have suggested that this site sends emails on a daily basis and when you view them, your balance is not credited accordingly. So there is an element of wasting the user’s time here. On the other hand, their faucet bot is denying any withdrawals until the user has sent Bitcoins to the anonymous operator. The free accounts are meant to lure you into the trap and play with your mind. Ultimately, they’ll demand that you send them your Bitcoins in order for them to release your payments.
The BTC address which they provide for upgrades also changes every 24 hours. If you follow their instructions and upgrade, i.e send them the required amount of Bitcoins, they still won’t release your balance because they are scammers. Get BTC is operating like this because their intentions are not good.
Get BTC does look like a strange place for the simple reason that the operator is anonymous. This site is privately registered and meant to collect Bitcoins from members of the public instead of issuing out the payments as promised on the site. The fact of the matter is that all those promised made by Get BTC are misleading and not true. If you try sending them your coins, you will lose them. If you fail to send them any coins, you will still waste your time reading their emails.
The truth of the matter is that Get BTC is making money by sending you advertising emails so you can read them for free. They tell you that they will credit your balance for every email that you read. But this isn’t the case. It won’t happen.
Secondly, the scammers are busy collecting Bitcoins from members of the public by operating a fake bot where they will require their users to ”upgrade” their accounts with real money in order to receive their profits.
Avoid this kind of thing at all cost. If you want to make money, start trading Bitcoins.
