Micro BTC Review: Is Scam?

Many people have asked us whether is a scam or not. Our answer to this question is quite simple: when it comes to Cryptocurrency cloud mining, always be careful. If you’re looking at a site (Minerhash and the rest) that we’ve not recommended here, you should use extra caution because chances are that you will be scammed.

Micro BTC is one of those enticing Bitcoin mining sites on the internet. When you visit the homepage, it says…”start bitcoin mining, earn profits daily without hardware.” It even invites users to start mining Bitcoin for free without investing a single penny. Just by signing up with your email address, the site will give you some free 30 GH/S which they claim can be used for a lifetime.

Unfortunately, this site has all the markings of a scam or at least a rip off. If you’re considering the option of using Micro BTC website for your cloud mining operations, hold on a little bit. Read this review to find out what we are saying about them.

Micro BTC Review: could be a deadly scam, and here’s why

First of all, the site was started back in August 2016. It’s more than 12 months old, and that means it should have enough user feedback on the internet. When we have user feedback, we can easily gauge whether we are dealing with a scam or not.

When we checked the ownership details of Micro BTC website on, we were not able to proceed further because the owner had purchased a feature which allows hiding details of the site owner.

The site doesn’t state any address or phone number which can be used to reach them. They don’t even say where their operations are being conducted from.

That should make you scared of sending your coins to Micro BTC. If you spot these signs earlier on, you should be cautious not to proceed any further because you risk losing your money in this rip off operation.

We call it a rip off operation because all genuine Bitcoin/altcoin mining sites have ways to contact them on their site. There must be an official ticket system, a physical address and perhaps a phone number.

If a site lacks either of these critical details, you should probably run instead of finding excuses for donating your coins to them.

Micro BTC About us page

Now that we can’t learn about the owner of Micro BTC website on, is there any information about them on the official website where they claim to conduct mining operations from?

If you investigate closely, you will see that Micro BTC doesn’t even have an about us page. That’s one characteristic of scammers on the internet. Any serious Bitcoin mining site must have this page in tact because visitors find it very useful.

As it stands now, the owner is anonymous. We are not sure whether or not they have employees. A legit Bitcoin mining site cannot be operated as a one-man operation. They must have employees who perform various tasks such as programming, customer service and so on.

With this site, nothing is mentioned about the owner or the employees. It gives the impression that they are not a serious Bitcoin mining website. It further reinforces the fact that this site was probably designed to scam users on the internet.

Free 30GH/s for life?

When you come across a site that puts more emphasis on free things, you should think again. There is nothing like free things on the internet.

This is not charity, and mining altcoins in the cloud is no exception.

If this was real, we are sure that Micro BTC would have suffered huge losses. It’s obvious that the cost of mining Bitcoin is going up everyday. If they end up giving everyone 30GH/s of free mining power for life, who will pay that cost?

Ask yourself that question and you will see that Micro BTC is only trying to play games which they will obviously win in the end.

It does not make any business sense to donate free hashpower to users on the internet. So the truth is that there is no benefit in this offer. Yes, you will receive it. But you will never withdraw your profits regardless of whether or not you will purchase a plan later on.

Another claim that Micro BTC is making is that they won’t charge you any maintenance fees. That’s a big fat lie that just disappeared into thin air, the same way fart disappears into the air on a windy day.

How can someone give you 30GH/s of free hash power and at the same time say that they won’t charge you any maintenance fee? Who pays the cost of mining and issuing free money to you?

We are just being logical here because what we see on this site doesn’t make any sense. If they were to honor their word, they would have run out of business long time ago. The reason why they are still here more than 1 year later is because they’ve been using this fake offer to lure victims who then end up getting scammed.

Don’t believe this crappy offer at all. You will get trapped into buying a plan. When you do so, you will lose your coins.

Guaranteed profits

Scams make it sound good enough to lure in unsuspecting victims. If they tell you the truth, you won’t convert into a profitable lead.

So one of those outdated lies is that your profits will be guaranteed once you invest in any of their plans. Honestly, who guarantees profits in this industry, and especially with the rising difficulty of mining Bitcoin?

The truth is, only fraudsters can guarantee you a specific percentage of profit each day. They are insulting your intelligence. They are promising you something that cannot be achieved. The motive is to always steal from you. The same case applies to Micro BTC.

Another truth that you probably need to know about Micro-BTC

You need to realize that this site is only accepting deposits in Bitcoin payments only.

So that means you’re at risk of losing your coins because money sent in form of Bitcoin cannot be reversed.

On the other hand, most legitimate websites are now incorporating other methods of payment to give more users a chance to sign up. These sites have nothing to fear because their operations are legit.

But with a site like Micro-BTC, you are only being asked to deposit in Bitcoin to make it easier for stealing.

Statistics on the site: are these real?

The site claims that they already have 1,357,813 USERS and have been operating for 806 days. Why would they be transparent now when they had all along refused to introduce the owner of the site? Quite suspicious.

micro btc stats

These numbers are indeed fake. There is no way a site can hide every other detail and only make their user stats available.

Our best advice for you

While concluding this review, we want to mention that Micro BTC is even banning guys who have signed up and received their 30GH/s of free hashpower. They lure, trap, ask you to make a deposit and ban you eventually. Avoid this scam at all cost. Use our best alternatives here.
